Disconnect to connect with loved ones at this new family getaway in Turks and Caicos.

When planning Treasure Beach Village, a US$150 million expansion at Beaches Turks and Caicos, executive chairman Adam Stewart had a vision to create a resort where kids won’t feel the urge to be glued to their devices.
“We’re living in a world of digital overload, with information coming to us constantly, non-stop,” he shares. “Everything that we’re designing here is to create memories and moments with families.”
Far from boring, yet with plenty of room to unwind, Treasure Beach Village has a 15,000-square-foot lagoon-style pool with whirlpools and a swim up bar that also serves snowcones, surrounded by loungers and cabanas. White loungers and sun umbrellas line the famous white-sand Grace Bay Beach giving way to electric turquoise water. The water is so clear you can even spot fish and turtles swimming nearby.
To keep kids entertained, there’s a movie cinema, a waterslide and splash zone. On property, fun for the family includes a customizable frozen yogurt bar, opportunities to interact with characters from Sesame Street, kids and teens clubs, pickleball courts, scuba diving and snorkeling, and excursions on Kitty Katt, a catamaran with a waterslide.
“Many of the most recognized luxury brands are not very good at entertaining children. We understand really well that the kids are the original customers – and then mom and dad get to have a holiday and the time of their life, and the grandparents,” adds Stewart, who has three children.
The resort first opened its doors in March but celebrated its official grand opening during the May long weekend with star-studded support from Chad Michael Murray, Taye Diggs, Jesse Eisenberg and Dave Annable. The festivities included fireworks and a headline performance by American Authors, a rock band whose top hits include “Best Day of My Life” and “Believer.”
Standout accommodation options are the 2,800 square-foot Chairman’s Penthouse Suite, spanning two floors, and the three-storey 2,600 square-foot CrystalSky Reserve Villas with four bedrooms, welcoming up to 10 guests with a private pool, rooftop deck and direct beach access.
Lights, camera, action
Treasure Beach Village has a 32-seat theatre playing a daily rotation of family features and animated films, ideal for family movie nights, complete with popcorn and refreshments. It’s a great option for a rainy day!
Room for the family
The all-suite property has 101 multi-bedroom accommodations, ranging from two to four-bedroom luxury suites with a separate bedroom with bunk beds and a pull out bed for kids. Parents can put the kids to bed and continue the fun.
Dining delights
Guests have access to all the food options at Beaches Turks and Caicos (including a mac and cheese foodtruck) but new additions include Pinta Food Hall offering Mexican, Caribbean, Asian and Italian fare from fresh tacos and dumplings to made-to-order pizza, and Butch’s Island Chophouse, a fine-dining steak and seafood restaurant that’s also open for a la carte breakfast with favourites like avocado toast and eggs benedict.
Get off resort
Head to Half Moon Bay, often called Iguana Island because it is a protected sanctuary for endangered iguanas, where some 3,200 of the reptiles roam freely. The 65-foot catamaran also stops at coral reefs for snorkelling. Abridged tours are available for younger kids as well as half-day excursions.
